ST. THOMAS PRESCHOOL 2024–2025 FAITH FORMATION CALENDAR
Our program is available to children 3 to 5 years old (turning 3 by September 1st).
The St. Thomas Aquinas Preschool Faith Formation program is an important ministry for our "Little Ones." It is our privilege and responsibility to prepare and nurture our youngest parishioners as they grow in their baptismal faith. Rest assured, your child will receive the very best Catholic faith education. We are always mindful that children’s faith in Christ is nurtured by the Holy Spirit through God's Word.
Our staff is prepared to provide education through our specifically designed Preschool Faith Formation Ministry. Classes are conveniently scheduled during the 11:15 AM Mass on Sundays. While the family attends Mass, your preschooler will be cared for and educated by a well-seasoned and experienced staff. The Preschool Faith Formation Program at St. Thomas is led by Margie Schnabl. St. Thomas Preschool Faith Formation has been acclaimed by the Milwaukee Archdiocese as the most progressive and dynamic Sunday School Program in the Archdiocese.
SAFETY
All catechists who work with children in either of our parishes have gone through the Safeguarding All God's Children class through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and have had a background check.
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
Our preschoolers engage in a number of activities, events and performances throughout the year; an ice-cream social for Grandparent's Day, a Christmas Pageant, the Lil' Angel's Choir, Noah's Ark and a graduation celebration!
STUDENT-TEACHER MENTOR PROGRAM
St. Thomas Preschool Faith Formation Ministry offers an opportunity for High School Students to participate in our Student/Teacher Mentoring Program. Each year we offer openings for Teacher's Aides or Student Teachers to assist with various activities and be fully engaged in the teaching experience. Our classes take place every Sunday, except the last Sunday of each month, during the 11:15 AM Mass, September thru April.
