Music is an important and joyful part of worship at St. Clare and St. Thomas. Through music, we help lead our parish communities in prayer, celebrate our faith, and bring beauty and meaning to the liturgy.
Our Music Ministry includes singers and instrumentalists of different backgrounds and experience levels. From traditional hymns and sacred choral music to contemporary worship music, there are many opportunities to share your gifts. Whether you have years of musical experience or simply love to sing, there is a place for you in our Music Ministry!
Being a part of our music ministry is also a wonderful way to grow in faith, build friendships, and become more involved in our parish community.
Adult Choir
Our Adult Choir welcomes singers of all experience levels. You do not need to be able to read music to join! The choir provides music for Sunday Masses, holy days, Christmas, Easter, and other special parish celebrations throughout the year.
Rehearsals are held during the week, with a brief warm-up before Mass. Our schedule is designed to be flexible, so even if you cannot participate every week, we would love to have you join us when you can.
The Adult Choir is open to high school students and adults. If you enjoy singing, this is a great opportunity!
Cantors
Cantors have the special role of leading the congregation in song during Mass. If you are comfortable singing on your own or with small groups, we would love to hear from you. Cantors serve according to their availability, guidance and preparation are provided.
Instrumentalists
Do you play an instrument? Consider sharing your musical gifts with our parish! Instrumentalists may participate regularly or join us for particular Masses, holy days, concerts, and special celebrations.

There is always room for another voice or instrument. Whether you are an experienced musician, haven't sung in a choir in years, or have simply wondered what it would be like to get involved, we invite you to give our Music Ministry a try.
