Hospitality after Mass - You can be a host! Hospitality weekends are the third weekend of each month. Parishioners gather to enjoy conversation and community with one another. This is especially important for new and prospective members to feel welcome and strengthen relationships within our parish community. Parish families, groups or ministries are invited to host! Offer snacks and beverages after Mass in the gathering space for parishioners to enjoy as they exit. Sign up for one Mass or more! The total time commitment is only 45 minutes. Just a little bit of time and effort goes a long way! Organized by the St. Thomas Stewardship Committee. SIGN UP TO HOST

Please join the Knights Council 8172 in congratulating Ed & Linda Reesman as our June parishioners of the month! St. Thomas has played a major role in the Reesman family's life for many generations and speaks to the love and commitment that Ed and Linda have for the parish community. Ed’s great-grandfather led the people who designed and built our old church. Ed’s great-uncle Joseph built the beautiful chapel in the STA cemetery. Henry Reesman, Ed’s father, promoted the building of the 1941 school and Charles Reesman led the convent building project in 1944. Ed was born and baptized into the parish in 1943 and attended St Thomas school. Linda joined the parish in 1967 when she and Ed were married and Linda converted to Catholicism. They have two sons and four grandchildren who are the center of their universe. They were active since the beginning in various parish activities, including fund-raisers and faith formation. They had to leave the area in 1975 for a new employment opportunity. However, they found their way back to St Thomas in 1997. Ed then became a member of the pastoral council and was a trustee for many years, Linda was a proud member of the Holy Dusters. Ed retired in 2023 after 60 years as a senior executive with the Walbec Group and he and Linda are adjusting to retirement. To quote them both, “we are proud to be members and thankful that the St Thomas parish community is made up of so many good and holy people.” Ed and Linda have certainly been a blessing to the parish. The Knights ask you to thank them for all they do to make St Thomas a wonderful parish community and to congratulate them for their selection.
