A Jubilee Celebration of Service - Community Outreach Opportunity. As we continue to celebrate our 175th jubilee year at St. Thomas, giving back to our community has always been a cornerstone of our mission. To continue this mission, we are looking for volunteers to help do light yard work for a few community members/parishioners. Bring the family, a friend, or classmates and volunteer for one or both dates. The work will only be a couple of hours and may include raking, pulling weeds, etc. Please consider donating a little time to those in need. You’re invited to a six-week grief support program, “Healing with Faith & Friends.” We meet every Friday for six weeks, beginning October 9th at 10 AM in the St. Thomas lower level, enter Door #3, on Second Street, go downstairs (or use the lift). Learn coping skills for processing feelings in a healthy way. While the grief process can be difficult, better days are ahead. Come and receive hope, support and understanding in a safe environment. Hospitality after Mass - You can be a host! Hospitality weekends are the third weekend of each month. Parishioners gather to enjoy conversation and community with one another. This is especially important for new and prospective members to feel welcome and strengthen relationships within our parish community. Parish families, groups or ministries are invited to host!
