Reach Out with a Box of Joy! During our Family Faith Formation Reach Out Activity in December, each elementary student (Pre K-8th grade) will fill a Box of Joy to send to a child in a developing country. This is a beautiful opportunity for our young ones to live out their faith through giving. We invite you to support this act of charity by donating small gift items for the boxes. St. Clare & St. Thomas teens will serve two meals at the homeless shelter. A total of 280 (140 per trip). We're also creating 150 Blessing Bags with small comfort items that bring warmth, dignity, and hope. Food service dates are TBA, but the food we prepare will be frozen until dates are confirmed. Donations needed! Food and supplies for blessing bags, which you can purchase via our Amazon Wish List anytime. Bring all donations to class November 16th & 19th. This year, our teens have the rare opportunity to participate through YouthWorks. This experience offers a chance to serve others, grow in faith, and build lifelong memories with friends. Friends are welcome! They do not have to be Catholic. Down Payment: $100 to hold a spot (applies to the total cost). You’re invited to the annual Knights of Columbus Christmas Party Friday, December 19th at 5:30 PM in the St. Thomas Cafeteria! Parishioners of all ages are welcome. Please join Knights Council 8172 in congratulating the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family as our November Parishioners of the Month! We are so very blessed to have the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family as members of our parish. They brighten every Mass and liturgical function with their grace, prayerful demeanor and their commitment to consecrated life. We see them enthusiastically serving as Extraordinary Ministers, singing in the choir and joining us in the much broader support of our parish. It is also important to recognize their service in support of the General Secretariat of the Franciscan Missions, as well as their work at the Aurora Medical Center in Burlington. Please thank them for their presence with us, their service to God’s people, and for helping make St Thomas a welcoming community.

Hospitality after Mass - You can be a host! Hospitality weekends are the third weekend of each month. Parishioners gather to enjoy conversation and community with one another. This is especially important for new and prospective members to feel welcome and strengthen relationships within our parish community. Parish families, groups or ministries are invited to host! Offer snacks and beverages after Mass in the gathering space for parishioners to enjoy as they exit. Sign up for one Mass or more! The total time commitment is only 45 minutes.
