October 18 & 19:  Bags Distributed after all Masses at St. Thomas. October 25 & 26: Donations Collected. Please donate canned fruit, canned meats, soup etc. All non-food items such as dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and other paper products are also needed, gas gift cards and cash are welcome too. Please return bags with your donations to the Gathering Space. Your generosity and support in preparation for the upcoming holiday Season is much appreciated. God Bless!

Autumn is here! It's time to remove the summer decorations. Weather permitting, the cemetery committee's fall clean-up will be on Saturday morning, November 1st. Please remove any items you’d like to save and re-use prior to that day. This includes shepherd hooks, statues, plant holders etc. All remaining summer decorations will be discarded. Just a reminder, with All Souls Day and Christmas approaching, pumpkins/gourds, Christmas trees and blankets are NOT permitted. Please see the parish website for more details on cemetery regulations and what is acceptable. Christmas decorations can be placed after December 1st. Thank you and blessings to you and yours!

Reach Out with a Box of Joy! During our Family Faith Formation Reach Out Activity in December, each elementary student (Pre K-8th grade) will fill a Box of Joy to send to a child in a developing country. This is a beautiful opportunity for our young ones to live out their faith through giving. We invite you to support this act of charity by donating small gift items for the boxes. Saturday, November 1st, 4 PM at St. Clare and 4:30 PM at St. Thomas. All are welcome to join us in prayer as we remember those within our St. Clare and St. Thomas parish communities who have passed away between October 2024 and October 2025. The names and photos of the deceased will be presented in memoriam. The Mass at St. Thomas will be a live-streamed and recorded.

This year, our teens have the rare opportunity to participate through YouthWorks. This experience offers a chance to serve others, grow in faith, and build lifelong memories with friends. Commitments are needed by October 26th to ensure our participation. Please attend one of our Information Sessions. Sunday, October 12th or October 26th at 8 PM at St. Thomas, following class. Friends are welcome! They do not have to be Catholic. Down Payment: $100 to hold a spot (applies to the total cost). Space is limited, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable (per YouthWorks policy). If we don’t secure enough participants by October 26, we risk losing the trip. Our Elizabeth Ministry offers the opportunity to honor infant loss by customizing a brick paver to be placed in front of the memorial garden in the St. Thomas cemetery. By sharing in our memorial site, you provide encouragement for yourself and others seeking peace and solace there. A brick can be purchased and personalized for a family member to honor miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth or any child loss. Bricks are $50 each to cover the cost of the engraving. For the 10th consecutive year, St. Clare is participating in Fr. Al's House of Peace Holiday Food Boxes. We will collect donations and send one check directly to the House of Peace for distribution of food to 500 qualifying households for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Any donation amount is appreciated! Please make checks payable to St. Clare Parish and write “Food Boxes” on the memo line. There will be envelopes and a collection box in the Narthex. Donations must be received by November 1st. Thank you!

Hospitality after Mass - You can be a host! Hospitality weekends are the third weekend of each month. Parishioners gather to enjoy conversation and community with one another. This is especially important for new and prospective members to feel welcome and strengthen relationships within our parish community. Parish families, groups or ministries are invited to host! Offer snacks and beverages after Mass in the gathering space for parishioners to enjoy as they exit. Sign up for one Mass or more! The total time commitment is only 45 minutes.
